How does The Loop Locker work?
Immediately upon subscribing to The Loop Locker for $1, you will have access to the loops and samples in the subscription package (Starter, Artist or Producer) that you selected. These files can be downloaded directly to your computer or external hard drive from your account profile on The Loop Locker. Every month following the date you signed up, you will receive new, curated content in your Loop Locker account pertaining to your selected subscription package (i.e., an Artist Series subscriber would receive a new MIDI library and a new stereo loop and sample library (in WAV, REX2, AIFF and Stylus RMX formats).
What rights do I have for samples and loops I download from this service?
You are granted a broad royalty-free license for every sample that you download from The Loop Locker. This means you can use, reuse, remix, and otherwise modify downloaded samples and loops for use in any of your productions, including commercial projects. For a detailed description of the license terms, click here.
What if I receive a library that I’ve previously purchased from The Loop Loft?
If one of your monthly bundles contains a library that you’ve previously purchased directly from The Loop Loft, just contact our support team here and they will update your account with another complimentary library within 24-48 hours.
What is the “Exclusive Content” I’ll receive every 3 months for being a member?
On the 4th month of your Loop Locker membership, you will automatically receive additional content in your account. These exclusive items range from drum plug-ins like Drum Direktor Cinematik and FNK-4, to Multitrack Drum Bundles and MASCHINE/sample libraries. The retail value of each of these items will be at least $149.00 and you will continue to receive them every 3 months during the lifetime of your membership.
If I cancel my account, do I lose access to all of my loops and samples?
If you cancel your subscription, you will maintain access to The Loop Locker until the end of your billing cycle, at which point you will no longer be charged and lose access to the browser and your online download links. However, you will still have access to the samples and loops you have downloaded and stored on your computer, and the license granted to you for those sounds is perpetual. In addition, we will save all of your content after you cancel, so if you decide to come back, everything will be just as you left it.
How does billing and renewal work?
When you sign up, your credit card will be charged for $1.00 to activate your Loop Locker subscription. Then, 1 month following the date of subscribing (or 1 year, if you selected the annual plan) you will be charged for the monthly or annual amount of the subscription package on a recurring basis. Your billing cycle will start whenever you sign up - for example, if you sign up on July 12th, you will be billed on the 12th of every month. If a monthly subscription is scheduled for a date that does not occur in a given month, we'll charge you on the last day of the month. For example, if a monthly subscription is scheduled for the 31st day of each month, we'll create the charge on the 30th of April, June, September, and November, and the 28th of February (or the 29th, if it exists). The following month, we'll create the charge on the 31st as usual.
